Terms of Service
This is a placeholder. These terms summarise how we intend the service to work, but they have not been through legal review and are not a final agreement. We will publish reviewed terms and tell every existing subscriber before they take effect. If anything here matters to your decision, email [email protected] and we will answer directly.
1. What the service is
Simple-PSA is a hosted instance of OrangeBoard, a professional services
automation application, operated by Standard Computer. When you subscribe
we create a dedicated server for you at a subdomain of
simple-psa.com and install the application on it. The
instance is yours to use for your own business.
2. Subscription and billing
- Plans are monthly, in US dollars, charged when you subscribe and then on the same day each month.
- Your plan sets a technician limit. If you need a larger plan, contact us and we will move you.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Prices quoted at signup do not change for an existing subscription without notice to you first.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your billing portal, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. When you cancel:
- Your instance is shut down straight away, so plan for it.
- We keep the server's disk for 30 days, so you can ask us to turn it back on or to help you extract your data.
- After 30 days the server and its data are permanently destroyed. This is not recoverable, so take an export if you want one.
4. Your data
The data you put into your instance is yours. We do not sell it, mine it, or use it to train anything. We can read it, because we operate the server it sits on, and we do so only to run and support the service. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
5. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service running and will fix problems promptly, but this placeholder offers no service-level guarantee and no uptime commitment. Support is by email to [email protected]. A reviewed version of these terms will say something specific here.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk email, to attack other systems, or to host content you have no right to host. We may suspend an instance that is doing any of those, and will tell you why.
7. Liability
Pending legal review. A reviewed version will set out limits of liability; this placeholder does not attempt to, and you should not read its silence as either a broad guarantee or a broad exclusion.
8. Changes
We record which version of these terms you agreed to, and when. If we change them materially we will email the address on your subscription before the new version applies to you.
